About

Waiheke is often described as an island escape. For us, it’s more personal than that.

Iain has had a long relationship with Waiheke, returning regularly since 2005, before making the move permanent. Over time, that familiarity has grown into a deep, practical understanding of the island – not just its headline wineries and beaches, but its rhythms, back roads, seasonal shifts, and the places locals return to again and again.

That perspective shapes everything we do.

Our tours are private, unhurried, and designed around you. No set routes. No rushed tastings. No attempt to squeeze the island into a checklist. Instead, we focus on thoughtful itineraries that balance well-known highlights with quieter moments – a long lunch with a view, a swim at the right beach for the day’s conditions, a cellar door that still feels personal.

We work with a small network of trusted local operators – winemakers, restaurateurs, artists, and growers – chosen for their quality and consistency rather than hype. Access is considered, timing is deliberate, and the day is structured to feel effortless.

You’ll travel comfortably with private transfers arranged from the ferry or your accommodation, and your itinerary will be tailored to your interests, pace, and occasion – whether that’s a celebration, a relaxed introduction to Waiheke, or simply a desire to experience the island well.
